The paper discusses political, economic and socio-cultural conditions for the development and implementation of the Moscow state university ensemble in Vorobyevy (Lenin) Gory. The purpose of the work is to reveal the sociocultural significance of the Moscow State University ensemble (1949–1953) as the result of the impact of historically related factors, as well as specific circumstances that have arisen in post-war Soviet society. The basis of the study is a systemic approach, combining analysis and synthesis methods, in which the essential features and properties of the Moscow State University ensemble are considered as an object of cultural heritage. This problem is relevant in the modern discussions arising from various approaches to the theory and practice analysis of architectural and urban planning activities of the mid-20th century. The set of factors that contributed to the formation of the new Moscow State University complex was not given due consideration in philosophical and cultural discourse. The problem is studied based on the research materials of historians, cultural scientists and philosophers involved in the analysis of the domestic architecture development in the 20th century. The source base is memoir literature. The author offers his conclusions about the factors influenced the process of development and implementation of the project of Moscow state university architectural ensemble.

The study deals with the interaction between the church, believers and authorities in the first decades of the Soviet state. A historiographical review helps reveal the crucial periods of research on their relationship and describes the major achievements in this regard. Since an atheistic approach forced researchers to regard liberation from religious consciousness as a goal, the studies were politically charged until the 1980s. Nowadays, there is a need for more detailed information about the life of secular clergy and religious communities. Based on the archives, the author demonstrates the relationship between the authorities and the religious community of the Church of the Kazan Mother of God in the churchyard of Borisogleb in Baglachevo, Ulybyshevskaya Volost, Vladimir District, Vladimir Province. The fate of its parish is described as well.

The paper provides a review of the current situation in Russian industrial parks and management and investment attraction practices of other countries. Every year the number of industrial parks in Russian regions is increasing, state and legislative support is growing. Despite this fact, the attractiveness of industrial parks in Russia is not so high as the attractiveness of similar structures abroad. Identifying the fundamentals of Russian industrial park management, the author considers three management models: special, independent, and hybrid and believes that the first one is typical for Russia, since domestic industrial parks are dynamically funded under the state budget. However, none of Russian industrial parks does not correspond to the classical management models, which is caused by a number of reasons. Summarizing international practices of the industrial park management, the author concludes that several administration schemes can be applied in this country in order to attract both Russian and international investors. The analysis of the integrated capacity of the industrial park attractiveness enables investors to invest deliberately according to the development program and considering visible problems in this field.
